Connect your approved platform to SAP Concur: reconcile e-invoices and expense reports

TEVASOFT CONNECT is the integration layer that links your approved e-invoicing platform to SAP Concur: it receives e-invoices (Factur-X, UBL, CII), automatically reconciles them with each expense report line and injects the structured data into SAP Concur.

    The short answer

    • Your approved platform receives e-invoices; SAP Concur manages your employees' expense reports. By default these are two separate flows.
    • CONNECT sits between the two: it reconciles each official invoice with the matching expense report line.
    • TEVASOFT is not an approved platform: CONNECT complements yours, it does not replace it.
    • If you already have SAP DRC, it answers this reconciliation natively. CONNECT is for organizations that do not have it, or that use a third-party approved platform not natively connected to that ecosystem.

Two flows that do not reconcile on their own

On SAP Concur, the e-invoice received through your approved platform and the expense line entered by the employee remain, by default, two separate flows. One arrives on the accounts payable side, the other comes from the field. Nothing reconciles them automatically: nobody checks that both documents match the same expense, or that VAT was recovered on the right document.

What e-invoicing compliance coversWhat is left to audit in SAP Concur
The document format is validThe amount matches the expense actually incurred
The invoice went through an approved platformThe same invoice does not appear twice on two different reports
Legal mentions (SIRET, VAT) are presentThe expense is consistent with the travel policy
The structured data is usable for accountingThe receipt was not generated or altered artificially

How CONNECT links your approved platform to SAP Concur

    1. 1

      Reception

CONNECT receives e-invoices from your approved platform, in Factur-X, UBL and CII formats.

    2. 2

      Checks

The invoice format and the supplier's SIRET are verified.

    3. 3

      Reconciliation

Each invoice is automatically reconciled with the employee's expense report line.

    4. 4

      Injection

Structured data (VAT by rate, supplier, SIRET...) is injected into SAP Concur. Gaps and duplicates are flagged.

    Example

A hotel Factur-X invoice received through the approved platform is reconciled with the employee's expense report. CONNECT detects a gap: the VAT amount needs confirming. Illustrative example.

    Depending on your situation

    • You already have SAP DRC

SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) natively answers the reconciliation between invoice and expense report, within the SAP ecosystem. CONNECT does not replace it when it is deployed.

    • Your approved platform is not natively connected to SAP

CONNECT sits between your approved platform and SAP Concur to reconcile the official invoice and the expense report, without changing your SAP Concur deployment.

The €150 excl. VAT threshold: e-invoicing or e-reporting

    • E-invoicing (€150 excl. VAT and above)

The supplier issues a structured e-invoice (Factur-X, UBL or CII). It goes through the approved platform and feeds the employee's expense report.

    • E-reporting (under €150 excl. VAT)

The receipt stays a ticket or a simplified invoice. The company sends the transaction data to the tax authority through its approved platform.

    Frequently asked questions

How do I connect my approved platform to SAP Concur?+

TEVASOFT CONNECT receives e-invoices from your approved platform (Factur-X, UBL, CII), reconciles them with expense report lines and injects the structured data into SAP Concur. Contact us to scope your setup.

Why reconcile e-invoices and expense reports?+

Without reconciliation, the official invoice and the expense report remain two separate flows: nobody checks that they match the same expense or that VAT is recovered on the right document.

    Is TEVASOFT an approved platform?+

No. TEVASOFT CONNECT is the integration layer between your approved platform and your expense management tool.

Does CONNECT replace SAP Concur or SAP DRC?+

No. CONNECT sits between your approved platform (or your SAP DRC) and SAP Concur. If SAP DRC is already deployed, it natively answers the invoice and expense report reconciliation.

    Which e-invoice formats are supported?+

    Factur-X, UBL and CII.

What is the threshold for expense reports?+

€150 excl. VAT. Above it, the invoice must be a structured e-invoice. Below it, the e-reporting regime applies.

Is my approved platform compatible with CONNECT?+

It depends on your platform's integration capabilities. Contact us: we look at your setup together.
